Chris Garcia | Assistant Coach

Chris Garcia, who's been on two coaching staffs elsewhere in the Lone Star Conference, began serving as an assistant women's basketball coach at Oklahoma Christian in May 2022.

Garcia spent the 2021-22 season as an assistant coach at Texas A&M-Commerce, where he worked alongside current OC head coach Markeith Brown on the staff of TAMUC head coach Jason Burton. TAMUC went 27-5, spending a week atop the Division II-Sports Information Directors Association national poll before falling in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

During the 2020-21 season, he was an assistant coach at Texas-Tyler during that program's first season as a LSC member. Before that, he was a student assistant coach for Abilene Christian's women's program from June 2018 to January 2020.

Garcia, a 2019 ACU graduate, served as a student manager for the Wildcats' men's basketball programs from 2015 until June 2018.
